Job Description

Production Engineer





YOUR TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Ensuring implementation of manufacturing best practices in daily operation as well as trouble shooting and standard work instruction to minimize downtime (focus on unplanned dowtime)
  • Responsible in ensuring Operational Equipment Maintenance for production and utility done effectively and efficiently.
  • Supporting site activities related with PPS (PHA, Machinery Safety Checklist, Warehouse checklist,etc)
  • Ensuring consistance implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM/ PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM – CILT) by shopfloor
  • Leading the initiative on how to reduce waste especially for the hazardous waste
  • Handling daily operation in the situation of shift supervisor is not available
  • Fostering lean tools to be continuosly used and implemented for seeking saving opportunity i.e., VSM, PDCA, DMAIC, onePSS, SGA
  • Maintaining idea collection for improvement focusing on support MOVE saving initiative
  • Leading PIP (Profit Improvement Project) execution and regular FI (Focus Improvement) best practice meeting
  • Ensuring all improvement projects are executed within budget and timeline
  • Leading to support digital initiative as local mater expert i.e., i/o performance, shift connector and PIC (Production Information System)
  • Enhancing project management approach
  • Responsible in developing competency matrix for Tier 1
  • Supporting training need analysis and KPI development for shopfloor and group leader
  • Establish close communication and coordination with all supporting functions thru leading and organizing regular meeting
  • Ensuring all agreed action / activity is followed up by respective function

WHO YOU ARE


  • S1 graduation from university with major in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial engineering
  • Having 2-3 years working experience in the same field in Manufacturing operation as supervisory level
  • Familiar and understand SAP Process and Transactions of Manufacturing Execution
  • Aware of operational excellence function and lean apporach/ tools
  • Good in English, active listening and speaking
