Job Description

Do you have experience in producing corporate products, including writing and editing Annual Report?

Do you have strong research and excellent writing skills in English, proven with English Language certification?

Do you have understanding of development issues, particularly those related to women empowerment, gender equality, and humanitarian issue?

Objective


To provide content and story writing and editing for Oxfam Annual Report 2020/2021 that is sharable to external audience and knowledge system for Oxfam.

Scope of Work

Editing Draft of Annual Report

  • Restructure and edit 20-50-page text – including charts and graphs, as needed – for the Annual Report as per a “working” editorial and production schedule,
  • Review and edit story flow of the Annual Report,
  • Incorporate revisions related to content and/or language. Where applicable, the text will adhere to branding standards for language and presentation,
  • After draft of Annual Report has been finalized the documents need to be curated into the version that is well presented for both internal and external stakeholders of Oxfam.

Proofreading Final Draft of Annual Report

  • The consultant will also proof-read the texts as they are laid out by internal team and graphic designer.

Consultant will provide their service to edit and proofread Annual Report Oxfam 2020/2021 with specifications as detailed below


Functional Competencies

  • Strong research and excellent writing skills in English, proven with English Language certification (TOEFL with minimum score of 600 and IELTS with minimum score of 7) or portfolio in editing services or writing articles and academic research in English,
  • Excellent organizational skills,
  • Experience in producing corporate products, including writing and editing Annual Report
  • Understanding of development issues, particularly those related to women empowerment, gender equality, and humanitarian,
  • Knowledge of development terms, language and style,
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • Interested candidate shall submit proposal (responding the objective, output, and methods expressed in this doc) and proposed budget. Detail estimated budget including gross consultancy fee. Consultancy fee should be indicated in gross terms, which includes 10% VAT (if any) and 2,5% of WHT

  • Proven English Language certification (TOEFL with minimum score of 600 and IELTS with minimum score of 7)
