Your Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Managing Security Consultant position is for an experienced security professional with demonstrated consulting experience who can deliver strategic security advisory services and conduct comprehensive information security assessments for key Kyndryl clients.

Candidates should be experienced information security consulting professionals with demonstrated experience performing security assessments and acting as senior security strategic advisors at the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and/or Senior Security Manager levels. Should possess proven record of IT and security thought leadership and be recognized for business as well as technical acumen by the customer set supported. It is preferred that the consultant have experience in gaping to multiple standards and frameworks including PCI, ISO, NIST, etc. and have experience in formulating security roadmaps to bridge existing security gaps within clients' organizations. The candidate must have exceptional communication and presentation skills as well as must be a self-starter and always exhibit professional business conduct.

Must be willing to travel up to 50%, depending on client requirements.

Consulting and Sales
  • Work on Opportunity creation and development in security area, with select set of clients, or Industry sector. Provide Security Point-of-Views based on Clients’ and Industries needs.
  • Provide demonstration of Kyndryl credentials in more than 2 of the core Cybersecurity capability domains SSRC (Security Strategic Risk and Compliance), IAM (Identity & Access Management), Threat Management (SOC + Incident Response), Application and Data, Infrastructure Endpoint and Mobile Security or OT / ICS Security.
  • Work closely with the local solution design teams in developing client presentations and SOWs
  • Be a key advisor for Kyndryl’s clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. The Sr Managing Consultant will apply the technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the Security and infrastructure solutions that will make Kyndryl the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Delivery
Take ownership of end-end delivery of security work for client and ensure what's sold is getting delivered to satisfaction of client.
  • Work on helping organize project approaches and teams for client delivery
  • Participate in project delivery, to varying degrees depending on project complexity
  • Help resolve project issues as they arise
  • Establish strong client relationships in key accounts to help progress the Security Services portfolio

Practice
  • Contribute content and advice to the offering development process
  • Help shape the emerging model of the global Security practice

People
  • Help establish capability and skills models for the core domains
  • Become a role model for global practitioners in the core domains

Required Technical and Professional Expertise


  • Required Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in information security consulting (professional services consulting for end clients)
  • At least 5 years of experience in interfacing at multiple levels of client management and building relationships
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing complex projects and using project management skills
  • Deep knowledge in security industry regulations/standards (Example: PCI DSS) and compliance frameworks (E.g., ISO 27002, NIST CSF)
  • Readiness to travel 50% annually, depending on client requirements.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • MBA or master’s degree
  • At least 2-year experience in information security consulting working for International Recognized consulting firms
  • At least 1 year of experience in a role as a Chief Information Security Officer
  • One or more security certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CCISO, CEH, Security+, GIAC GMON, GIAC GSEC, ISO27K, etc.
