Job Description

As Gojek Financial Services Platform continues its business expansion across several segments, the accounting and finance operational complexities are evolving as well. As our Finance Accounting Staff, you’ll play a pivotal role in Gojek Financial Services Platform's team - a team that strives to provide support for Gojek's growth within the financial services industry. Reporting to the senior staff you'll take the wheel in managing the team's administrative duties, finance report packages for each product and revenue, and get your hands dirty in resolving various finance and reconciliation issues. Your efforts will help further position Gojek Financial Services Platform as the most preferred financial services platform in the region and beyond.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with FAT teams to ensure that the appropriate financial and accounting treatment, controls, settlement and reconciliation activities are undertaken
  • Support the senior management in Finance operations, Accounting management and team management
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial and accounting-related matters within the company, including but not limited to loans disbursement, repayment and settlement
  • Record, analyze & reconcile journal entries
  • Responsible managing daily accounting.

What You Will Need

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Accounting (or equivalent educational background)
  • At least 1 years of relevant cumulative working experience
  • Prior experience in a KAP firm is preferable
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to multitask and work under high pressure
Our Finance Team is a part of the larger Finance, Accounting, and Tax (FAT) team, which consists of 1 Senior Manager, and 4 team members based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Working alongside the Accounting, Financial Planning & Control, and Finance MIS teams, we manage GoFin’s finance processes, including establishing an effective and efficient workflow within the finance team and liaising with the internal and external parties. As a team, we constantly keep tabs with the ever-dynamic evolution of accounting theory and its daily implementation to deliver qualified financial service products with less friction to our users. Every product is unique and requires specific accounting assessment at every stage. As geeky as it sounds, we are passionate about identifying and resolving accounting reporting-related issues. Currently, we've been hard at work on a financial reporting & reconciliation process, which will help GoFin establish more reliable data and a more effective financial reporting process.We are a close-knit group of fintech enthusiasts, sports junkies, food-blogger wannabes, cuan-minded investors, promo hunters, amateur dancers, jokesters and travel addicts.
