Job Description

Position Overview

The Finance Manager is responsible for Solmax Indonesia finance matters, ensuring the good quality of all financial information generated in compliance with the organization’s policies and the recognized accounting standards applicable in Indonesia. They manage the daily financial activities of the Company and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting data of the Company as per deadlines. They are actively involved in good corporate governance and internal controls of the Company.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation and analysis of the financial statements including graphics, tables, etc., to meet the requirements of the various information users, while keeping in line with the local GAAP and international accounting standards (IFRS).
  • Responsible for the accuracy and reliability of the financial information released to ensure a well-informed decision within authorized deadlines.
  • Responsible for the establishment of control mechanisms to ensure good management of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and inventory system.
  • Responsible for cost accounting and inventory management.
  • Responsible for the set-up and implementation of the corporate and local policies and procedures to ensure adequate internal control with the objective of protecting the assets of the Company.
  • Responsible for monitoring the corporate budgets, reporting variances, and bringing about adjustments to rectify the situation.
  • Responsible for ensuring that payment policies, expenses authorization, etc., are respected.
  • Responsible for the preparation and control of cash inflow, outflow, and forecasts.
  • Work well and understand computer ERP systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of data generated from the ERP system.
  • Responsible for sensible management of finance expenses in compliance with the company’s objectives (Expenses Control).
  • Responsible for the implementation of and adherence to governmental demands in terms of duties, VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax, etc.
  • Responsible for implementation and following government programs such as tax credits, grants, etc.
  • Responsible for the annual budgeting process.
  • Responsible for internal and external audits.
  • Deal with external consultants, auditors, tax agents, government agencies, bankers, etc.

Qualifications

  • University degree in accounting. Professional accounting designation recognized in Indonesia
  • At least 8 years of experience in accounting specializing in manufacturing/distribution environment
  • Minimum 3 years experience in supervision and managerial level
  • Mastery of computer tools such as Word, Excel, Windows, ERP software, etc.
  • Excellent in English communication
