About the Role
If you’re looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly-analytical team and a chance to dive deep into projects surrounding Vendor Onboarding and Maintenance process throughout Gojek entities, look no further. Vendor Management Team is a centralized function based in Jakarta.
You'll take the wheel to support Head of Vendor Management through Vendor Onboarding, Vendor maintenance and also perform Vendor analysis movement (Spend, Commodities and Compliances) to ensure the eligibility of the Vendor aligning with the core business of the transaction. Working closely with the procurement and Buyer team you’re also get the exposure with stakeholders, both internal and external. Your efforts will ensure the Vendor are well maintain and our stakeholders get the experience they deserve.

Being centralized means that we serve GoTo (locally and internationally) . That also means that not only the GoTo functions but also vendors from many countries with language barriers and untranslated documents in English.
So, what’s the fun in it? Is it too much to take?
Well, as one, Vendor Management Team, we are having fun trying to understand the differences that we face. The casual brainstorming session always ends up with the laugh on different characters that we found on documents or people that represent the country. There is always room to improve our process to meet one goal for our stakeholders to easily understand the process despite the barriers.
The chances to leverage skills and competencies are always on a plate, as we are giving presentations to colleagues and vendors, explaining processes, monitoring the details and being critical and analytic on it too. It is the whole package of opportunity to sharpen the Communication, Presentation, Analytics & Problem Solving and Risk & Control Skills.
