What will your role be ?
AFD is looking for a Project Officer able to develop activities in the area of Sustainable Finance in Indonesia.
AFD supports Sustainable Finance in Indonesia through different approaches and financial tools, such as grants and technical assistance, credit lines to public banks, direct loans to States Owned Enterprise, Sovereign loan the Government for programs of reforms. AFD works with the indonesian financial institutions and the banking sector in order to promote green investments and sustainable finance. Some operations cofinanced with other donors and with the support of European Union. The support for development of sustainable finance will be a major axe of our activity for the next years in Indonesia.
MAIN MISSIONS
Ensure the identification of projects, the development and the monitoring of the portfolio of operations in all or part of the intervention sectors of the agency.
ACTIVITY
Pilot the operational management of the project portfolio and the identification of new operations
Prospecting and identifying relevant operations within the dedicated sector;
Participate in the instruction, evaluation and formalization of projects;
Monitor the execution of projects and public procurement processes; monitor the proper technical and financial execution of projects;
Organize and support the supervision missions of the agency or head office;
Ensure the keeping of legal files relating to the projects concerned (financing agreements, amendments, etc.).
Ensure the follow-up of cross-cutting subjects
Ensure a sectoral watch on the financial sector and institutions in Indonesia;
Contribute to the reflection on the country strategy and the sector strategy;
Participate in AFD's communication on the sector, in conjunction with the regional management in Bangkok.
Represent AFD in external relations
Establish and maintain contacts with the local partners of the agency;
Represent AFD in meetings and events with national authorities and other partners.
Who are we looking for?
Profile:
Qualifications: Master's degree in finance or banking, with at least five years’ professional experience.
Capacity to understand the financial situation of a State Owned Enterprise or Bank and to identify area of business development
Ability to dialogue with stakeholders of the Banking and financial sector (Ministries, SOE’s and SOB’s, other international).
Autonomy and desire to work within an French public institution and a small multicultural team in Jakarta,
Strong written and oral communication skills in English. French is an asset.
Conditions of employment:
Location: Jakarta.
Contract: local contract of indefinite duration through Outsourcing firm
Working days: 5 days per week
Expecting starting date: October 2021
Remuneration: negotiable, depending on the level of education, experience and skills of the candidate.
