Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

This role is responsible to support Market Access Lead in driving Market Access strategy and plan, lead pricing business cases, maintain discount levels from various channels, navigate tender pricing environment and support health economics studies development.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support development of Market Access Strategy and execution of Market Access Plan for key brands
  • Lead development of pricing business cases for new products, existing products, affordability programs and Category C products
  • Maintain discount level given to various channels (i.e government, private and affordability programs) to ensure net price is not below the global approval
  • Navigate and take charge in managing e-Catalogue pricing environment (i.e tender or hospital mini competition)
  • Support Healthcare Access Specialist (HAS) JKN and JKN sales team in identifying and realizing access opportunities in JKN through competitive pricing
  • Support development of health economics studies in collaboration with medical team
  • Collaborate with access colleagues and cross functional team (CL, CBL/CBM, Medical, Finance, Key Account, FM, Sales Reps and others) to develop pricing business case and execution of Market Access Plan

QUALIFICATIONS

Indicate qualifications that are job related, consistent with business necessity and necessary for the performance of an essential function of this role including: education/licenses/certifications, relevant experience (where legally permissible), technical and/or other job-related skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational university background in business, science, pharmacy or other relevant major
  • Fluent in English (written and oral)
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel and other relevant pricing tools
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with others
  • Agile and able to adapt to changing environment and complete work within a short period of time when required
  • Experience in pricing or Market Access is a plus

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Provide the primary groups or key role(s) that this role will have interaction with as a regular part of the role responsibilities. Include any external interactions as appropriate.

Internal:

  • Access team: Market Access Lead, HAS and Digital PAP Manager
  • Regional and global pricing team, PHI, RTAL and other relevant colleagues
  • Local cross functional team: CL, CBL/CBM, Medical, Finance, Key Account, FM, Sales Reps and others

External:

  • Government procurement agency (LKPP)
  • Health Economics organization and Health Economics Key Opinion Leaders (KOL)
  • Stakeholders in Ministry of Health (when necessary)
  • Stakeholders in government hospital (when necessary)
