Managing end-to-end Logistics operations on warehousing, transportation, including customs activities to ensure smooth operations on inbound, storage, and outbound shipments
Manage third party logistics providers, that covers various services: warehousing, transportation, export-import clearance, and freight forwarding
Manage communication with vendor / exporter related to import documents and process of import in Indonesia and with customer / importer related to export shipments from Cimanggis plant and documentation.
Manage SOP and review Contract Agreement with Import and Export Forwarder, also involve on Bayer Ocean 5. Tender yearly allocation, managed by Global Transport management
Supervise on import process of Raw, Packaging, Technical Goods and Finished Goods and ensure the goods can be received on time, and also supervise on export preparation from Cimanggis plant and ensure timely delivery to customer
Responsible on custom audit, liaise with government & custom officer on import / export matter, and to represent company in custom court when necessary
It is essential for the Logistics Manager to ensure that the employees comply with the rules and regulations of the home country as well as the exporting country. The manager is also responsible for the penalties that may occur if the rules and regulations are violated. Any delays that may occur during the export and import process should also be controlled by the manager.
It is the responsibility of the Logistics Manager to monitor the arrangements that the employees make for forwarding the freight at the desired time in a cost-effective way. Any delays in the shipment need to be notified to the customer by the employees in the organization by the Logistics manager. The Logistics Manager should check whether there are opportunities for lowering the cost of the freight forwarding and shipment charges. Issues related to time zone delays also need to be managed by the Logistics Manager.
Managing stock accuracy of goods, supporting Accounting to have regularly yearly stock take & audit for goods stored in warehouse, third party logistic, distributor and contract manufacturing and ensure all transactions are executed timely and accurately in the SAP system with respect to Company Regulation and Compliance
Ensure workplace health, safety and security requirement are met. Ensure all processes and transactions are conducted in respect to the current Good Manufacturing Process (cGMP), standard operation procedure, Regulatory and Compliance.
Relevant experiences: Having 10 years experiences in operation of Logistic, Warehouse, Transportation, and Export-Import field
Minimum 5 years experiences in managerial preferable from Health-related industries
Familiar with SAP or other major ERP and preferably with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Working knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
Main competencies for the job: Fluent in Indonesia and English Strong leadership, ability to work in a team as well as independently, high integrity, self discipline Strong communication
