As a Sales Strategy Manager, you will contribute to building strategic plans for the Midtrans Sales Team to support growth objectives while strengthening the business core to develop and maintain a competitive advantage.
The role will also serve as the proxy for Ops, Marketing, and other functions in Midtrans and GoTo Financial to support better communication, planning, and execution moving forward.
What You Will Do
Support the development of Midtrans Sales strategy
Conduct research and analyses of operational effectiveness and processes for stakeholders
Align Sales-GTM, Products & Operations goals, processes, and resource allocation with the Midtrans strategy
Assess market trends and competitors on Midtrans business
Identify threats and opportunities on Midtrans business
Present findings and projections, and recommended actions
Plan, implement and manage proposed recommendations and projects
Monitor and report on Midtrans Sales projects
What You Will Need
A BS/MS in Business, Engineering, or a related field
At least 3 years of relevant experience in management consulting, e-commerce, fintech, or tech company
Proven success in working within dynamic and complex environments, with the ability to rally teams and influence stakeholders of various levels
Strong project management, organizational, and planning skills in order to delegate and juggle multiple tasks, make sense of a sea of information, and layout strategies relevant to business growth
Outstanding research and analytical abilities in order to identify our products strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Proficiency in SQL is a plus
About the Team
Our Payments team oversees GoPay (Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing consumer payments and financial services app), as well as Midtrans (one of Indonesia’s largest payment gateways), and Spots (Indonesia’s largest offline network for payments).
The Third-Party Partnerships team consists of three to five experienced partnerships managers and executives who handle Midtrans’ most strategic partners on a day-to-day basis. The team is filled with vibrant, solid team players who often have to work to tight internal deadlines, support each other, and celebrate with peer-to-peer recognition initiatives.
We've helped simplify payments for over 300,000 merchant-partners in our respective regions - from retail stores in town to your favorite Gorengan and Martabak stalls. But, the growth of Payments does not stop here. We are hungry for more. We intend to become the largest payment and financial services group in Southeast Asia. We are working on several projects now, including one about enhancing direct interaction with our merchant-partners of a variety of businesses and their customers.
