Job Description

Position: Technician - Kitchen Equipment Maintenance (Full time #529970)
Property / Office: Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reports to Engineering Manager -Operations-.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and operation of: HVAC System, Electrical, Central refrigeration and condensing units, Plumbing System, Fire Protection System, Kitchen equipment and all other M&E related equipment
  • Performs repair work to mechanical and electrical appliances/equipment
  • Records all plants/equipment and utilities logging accurately.
  • Receives instructions from the Duty Engineer on job priorities and attends to guest on engineering complaints as so directed by the Duty Engineer.
  • Checks and replaces/fixes bulbs in public area promptly.
  • Conducts regular testing of emergency stand-by generator in accordance to establish schedule.
  • Maintains proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas.
  • Adheres at all times to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group international Policies & Procedures and Fire Life Health Safety & Security and HACCP Standards.
  • Performs Emergency Response Team duties as required.
  • Courteous, professional and service orientated when dealing with Guest and colleagues.
  • Carries out all tasks in accordance with The Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta planned Maintenance Program.
  • Assists Engineering colleagues with technical advice and ensure standards are met at all times.

Requirements

Diploma/ Graduate in Electrical / Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering.

5-10 years of experience in handling Kitchen / F&B equipment maintenance preferably in Hospitality sector.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, control drawings, user manuals.
