Job Description

Job Responsibilities: • The purpose of the role is to join as an active member the company’s Indonesia team and overseeing all aspects of the company’s finance and accounting function • Support the Country Manager (Jakarta) in the provision of all functional finance requirements and reporting • Provides input across the business as a senior member of the company • Provision of timely information to the business and proactive variance/comparison tracking on key reporting and financial analysis • Liaises with key external stakeholders, banks, accountants etc • Provide data analytics and metrics activity to facilitate identification of further and ongoing margin improvement opportunities, utilising ERP and BI tools to identify and drive improvements across the business • Provides overall Treasury and Cash Management products and processes for the business, including ensuring effective balance sheet management and funding options are in place • Responsible for the external audit and compliance requirements • Provides input to the CFO at the head office the company Group as required • Reporting directly to the Country Manager in Jakarta and indirectly to the CFO at the head office specific duties to this role include but not limited to: o Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial accounts and analysis including commentary on Actual v Budget variances o Deliver annual budgets and quarterly forecast in line with CFO at the head office timetable o Compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, policy and Accounting Standards and report on annual statutory and taxation requirements as appropriate o Ensure effective management of the company cash flow, including cash management, cash flow budgeting and forecasting o Support the relationships with the funding partners, banks & stakeholders in Indonesia o Managing any FX hedging or funding strategies in line with the company’s Group policies o Lead the implementation of Dynamics 365 ERP system in conjunction with the company team in Australia o Overseeing the ongoing management of debtors, creditors and accounting processes ensuring these processes maximise the company financial outcomes, cash flow management and related requirements with a continuous improvement focus. o Oversight on debtors, credit risk management & credit insurance. o Overseeing the efficient, timely and compliant monthly administration of payroll Requirements: • Bachelor or Masters’ degree in finance or accounting. • Exceptional English communication skills • Proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail • Exceptional knowledge of Accounting Standards – both technical and practical • Practical experience with ERP system implementation and other finance function related technologies • Hands on whilst establishing, coaching and leading a strong support team • At least 5 - 10 years of working experience, preferably in agribusiness, logistics or related industries Personal Attributes: • Strong minded with willingness to share views and opinions contributing to desired outcomes. • Ownership of the role and responsibility. • Core values aligned with: o Open-minded and learning mindset of continual professional and personal development o Fast & Efficient, hungry for success with a sense of urgency o Create solutions and add value, 1+1=3 o Absolute trust and credibility, “a deal is a deal” both externally and internally, we do what we say we will o Focused on Win-Win Partnerships and outcomes with suppliers, customers & stakeholders • Prepared to work closely on strategic direction of company with the Country Manager and the CFO the company Group • Meticulous attention to detail • Strong planning and organizational skills • Leadership & managerial qualities • Effective written and verbal skills • Time management skills • Problem solving skills • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
