At Caterpillar’s Indonesia Batam, we manufacture Hydraulic Shovels products used in building the infrastructure and mining to move materials that makes a better world.
When you work as a EHS Specialist at Caterpillar Indonesia Batam you will provide supports for EHS at the Caterpillar Batam facility. You will also be focused on providing EHS training plan and development for overall facility.
As the EHS Specialist, you will:
Managing and developing EHS training and programs.
Assist EHS Engineer to define and delivered training programs applicable for safety, based on process needs.
Assist EHS Engineer and EHS Manager to develop programs and campaigns to improve the safety culture at CIB Facility.
Assist EHS Supervisor and EHS Manager on the implementation of the EHS Management System.
Performs inspections and tests planned to monitor specific EHS issues, regulations, and company practices.
May assist more experienced professionals in developing solutions.
Conduct EHS trainings and orientation to all new employees if required.
The successful candidate must bring:
Proficient in English is preferable.
College or university degree in an engineering or-related discipline and equivalent.
At least 3 (five) years of work-related experience.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Top candidates will also bring:
Have AK3 series (Government Safety Certifications).
Good written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Good human relations, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Additional knowledge on the video editor is preferable.
Additional Information
Shift: Regular Full Time 7.00 AM - 3.45 PM
Work location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau
You will work both in office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.
Relocation is available for this position.
