Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor will be based in Batam, Indonesia. This position is responsible to Implement a successful operation by managing all distribution, warehouse functions, provide materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services as well as staff supervision. What a typical day looks like:
  • Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Comply with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Monitor condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment.
  • Constantly monitor the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.
  • Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory and reconciling records.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Fresh Graduate or working experience
  • Demonstrates a general knowledge of functional concepts and a rudimentary understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
  • Willing to work in shift rotation
