Coordinates, administers, and controls financial operations. Provides tax, insurance and other reports required by governmental regulations. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial and budgetary reports. Directs all aspects of accounting operations and the preparation of annual financial forecasts. Oversees the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Working at NTT
1. Contribute to business unit strategy formulation and the setting of strategic direction of the organisational unit and take ownership of the strategic execution within area of responsibility.
2. Contribute to the co-ordination and management of the accounting function.
3. Contribute to the analysis and preparation of several financial reports and ensure the distribution and presentation of this information at the relevant forums.
4. Implement and manage compliance with financial controls.
5. Initiate the budget process and prepare and submit the annual budget and manage expenditure against the budget and ensure provisions are made for accruals to ensure adequate cover.
6. Oversee reconciliations, payments, purchase orders and ensure the gross profit percentage is maximised.
7. Manage the accounts billing function to ensure billing targets are met.
8. Manage maintenance contracts ensuring correct revenue and cost deferrals and contract renewals are processed on their anniversary date.
9. Act as a people manager for more junior employees in the Finance team.
