Job Description

Are you curious about life after graduation and excited to apply what you learnt in school? Want to gain valuable business skills with a global leader in the logistics industry? Then consider interning with our Sea Logistics department.

Your Role

During the internship, you will support the team by working on specific projects related to the product to improve the current work flows and document specific procedures.

Your Responsibilities

1) Induction
  • To go through special-designed trainings (on-line) for introduction and overall view on the understanding of freight forwarding operations
2) Operational Attachment
  • Being attached through buddy system and shadow a more senior colleague within the team on the day-to-day operational handling
  • "Hands-on" exposure and experience using in-house software systems, before starting to engage in internal liaisons with relevant parties
  • Providing some basic customer service to clients with the support from fellow team members, towards handling the clients confidently and independently
3) Coaching / Mentoring
  • Regular catch-up session with respective team supervisor / manager / senior manager for sharing of experience and feedback etc

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Diploma/Tertiary certification in Supply Chain or Business, with Degree Qualifications preferred
  • Ability to converse in Bahasa Indonesia and English fluently
  • Strong team player and is self-motivated
  • Able to work with Microsoft Excel
