Summary

Le Burger is a concept by one of New York's most celebrated Michelin stars chefs - Jean-Georges Vongerichten and his son, Cedric Vongerichten.

A new, modern, artsy restaurant with an industrial feeling, bringing the New York City downtown vibe to Jakarta. Le Burger will serve signature burgers with delicious sides and desserts, also offering a fast breakfast lunch Grab & Go style. With a beer garden attached to the restaurant, Le Burger will also offer a variety of beers on tab and bottles with an exclusive hip atmosphere.

You will be responsible for all culinary dishes prepared in the Burger Bar section of the kitchen. As a specialist Sous Chef, you are knowledgeable of your area of expertise and of culinary functions in general. You take great pride in preparing meals of the highest quality for the enjoyment of guests. You are well organized and able to work in a high-pressure environment. You display leadership qualities and take the time to ensure that the chefs in your section are well trained in all aspects of the menu and safe food handling.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Culinary qualification
  • Previous experience in high-quality cuisine at Sous or Junior Sous Chef level
  • A passion for great food
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of HACCP best practices
