Job Description

As Head of Operations for Instant Groceries, you will be responsible for overseeing the hub and DC operations across Indonesia and own an operating model and the relevant network that delivers an instant grocery delivery experience all over Indonesia. You will build / manage a team of superstar Operations Managers, DC Managers, District Ops Heads who will join in this journey.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the whole Operating P&L for the instant groceries vertical
  • Oversee operations across each and every value stream of the Instant Operating model
  • You will steer the Operations strategy for this business vertical in the coming years towards a billion dollar vision.
  • You will build an operating management framework that will help us deliver the value proposition we’re promising to our customers.
  • Manage a team of Ops managers, District heads and DC Managers.
  • Own the key metrics for Operations performance (Service Levels, Efficiency, Financial) across each and every hub across Indonesia.
  • You will have a foresight for all sorts of operational bottlenecks in what we’re building and have a plan to address those.
  • You will work closely with Product teams on defining how you would like technology to enable your operations vision.
  • You will work closely with other business stakeholders - Ops excellence, Planning, Finance, Marketing, Commercial etc who have the same goal as you for this vertical.


Job Requirements:

  • You’re CUSTOMER OBSESSED and you live this.
  • You have the ability to think of simple solutions for complex operating problems.
  • Process Driven leadership abilities
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-8 years of experience in operations, supply chain management (Preferably in Supermarket chains/e-grocers/Retail/FMCG)
  • You’re really good at managing stakeholders and keeping them accountable for what you’re building.
