Job Description

As the VP of Muslim Fashion Category, you will lead the implementation of sales and purchasing strategies to help achieve the company's long-term objectives. Details of the responsibilities include:

  • Develop merchandising strategies for category and sub-category
  • Identify and understand the customer and category trends to predict new product opportunities
  • Coordinate with SVP and Business Planner to drive sales
  • Develop a product category that is consistent with the merchandising plan by ensuring assortment mix, quality, margin, pricing, and assortment optimization
  • Identify possible opportunities to boost revenue growth by leveraging existing assortments
  • Collaborate with Business Planner to capitalize on the customer behavior and analytic integration information into product and marketing efforts
  • Stay up-to-date with current competition (product, distribution, pricing)
  • Lead a team with dedication and a mission to empower
  • Responsible for the Profit and Loss on category/sub-category

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree from reputable university
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing a team
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic planning and Profit & Loss management
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Passion to develop others through a sense of empowerment
  • Relationship-oriented and track record of building business partnership
