Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and ‘big data’ technologies
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data system
Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
3th - 4th year students with GPA minimum 3.0 from any major in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, Information Technology, applied Math or another quantitative field
Have knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)
Have knowledge and experience in data structures, metadata, data transformation, dependency and workload management
Have experience building and/or optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets
Strong analytic skills related to working with structured/unstructured datasets
Experience with data related Azure cloud services and Power BI is a plus
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages (Python etc) is a plus
Process raw digital geographic data into GIS or CAD formats and provide specialist mapping services.
Operate Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software.
