Job Description

In the Business Marketing division within Ad Solution, you will act as the team’s megaphone and shape the team’s voice - to help us tell our stories to the masses and win their hearts and minds. You will help us craft the narratives around the Ad Solution team, our products/solution, and our impacts to the market and to the brands we partner with. You will formulate communication strategies and channels so that we can reach audiences that matter and shape positive perceptions about our business. Your stakeholders will involve internal stakeholders such as the marketplace team, management team, product team, PR team, and more. You will also need to establish strong positive perceptions externally, in which our stakeholders are brands/merchants, investors, and the wider marketing/advertising communities. In this team, you will be challenged creatively on how we can build a bigger and better branding for Ads Solution team.



In your role you will be working closely with people from different functional areas such as Sales, Product, Marketing, Merchant, Marketplace, Public Relations, Policy, and others. Your ability to generate insights and stories from these different teams will be core to how you produce your work output. Your initial scope of work will include but not be limited to developing pitch decks, creating newsletter/marketing materials, joining industry events/arranging speakers, developing our internal events, publishing whitepapers, conducting periodical speaking engagements, etc. You and your team will handle everything beginning to end from ideation, roadmaps, concepts, narratives, visuals, communication strategy, communication channels, schedules and deliverables, down to daily executions. Responsibilities
:

  • Develop thought-leadership materials designed to enhance stakeholders’ understanding and perceptions of Ads Solution products/solutions.
  • Lead the design and execution of effective marketing programs, motivate cross-functional teams, drive innovative ideas that can scale, and spread best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to develop marketing channels and/or expand existing channels for growth internally and externally.
  • Seek actionable consumer and market insights to inform marketing strategies to promote our product/solutions towards internal/external stakeholders.
  • Build collaborative relationships with ecosystem partners (marketplace, PR, brand/merchant).
  • Propose and secure budgets to drive execution, track results, and return on investment.
  • Develop narratives, collateral, and events aimed at increasing our engagement with brands/merchants/advertisers/industry players.
  • Track and measure the impact of our programs and use insights/learnings to optimize initiatives for increased impact.
  • Prepare company spokespeople for press opportunities and events, staff media interviews, and manage the external PR team for Ads Solutions related subjects.
  • Partner with Sales and Product Marketing teams to build and activate go-to-market strategies, track and monitor performance with defined success metrics.
  • Shape internal training programs to educate the sales force on a growing set of advertising solutions
  • Ensure the right level of alignment, consistency and flexibility in approach across product marketing organization to maximize growth and scale impact
  • Lead analysis and diagnosis around key opportunity areas across markets and user segments to drive product growth


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in one of business or marketing strategy, digital marketing, business consulting, business strategy, or a related field
  • 3 years experience in leadership roles building and leading teams, including the development of leaders
  • Experience in engaging with cross-functional groups and with senior/C-level executives
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in project/campaign management and creating plans
  • Proven experience across marketing disciplines, including demand generation, content creation, sales and partner enablement
  • Organization and people skills and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task and work independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace
  • Analytical and data driven problem solver


Preferred Qualifications
:

  • Knowledge in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, and Ad Tech industry landscape
  • Proven experience working in a highly matrixed environment, including expertise in leading through others and a track record of leading successful cross functional programs
  • Experience driving scaled campaigns, online/offline events/seminars, online asset creation, newsletter, whitepapers, research papers, and PR releases
  • Experience working with PR, creative, brand agencies
  • Experience in designing marketing strategy frameworks/plans for fast growing companies
  • Experience in designing metrics and benchmarks to measure marketing performance
