Graphic Designer cum Video Editor
We are looking for a freelance graphic designer cum Video Editor to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media and events
Responsibilities
- Study design briefs and determine requirements for new brochure design/ web banner
- Prepare templated brochure, post-event report, badges posters as per required
- Manipulating and editing film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software
- Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
- Work with Producers/ Operations to produce the final design
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Ad hoc designing work
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a designer
- Ability to edit video is a must
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Ability to create infographics from complex information
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Willing to work on a tight deadline
- Strong work ethics
