The Business Development Manager-Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics (EDI) is key to driving new business initiatives, gathering marketing intelligence, guiding project teams, composing value propositions and creating business models to assess the feasibility of these new opportunities.

You are responsible for

  • Works as a Sales/Business Development Manager on problems of diverse scope where analysis of sales/business development data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

  • The development of the solution requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of sales/business development principles, -theories and -concepts.

  • Formulates the solution for (technical) partial problems that cannot be found by combining previous experiences but by composing newly acquired sales/business development knowledge.

  • May lead multi-disciplinary change projects in sales/business development, managing a number of people.

  • Works independently and provides consultative advice within specific functional areas.

  • Introduces sales/business development methods/procedures that are new for the organization.

  • Applies advanced sales/business development process principles to multiple tasks.

  • Proficient in area of specialization and contributes in other disciplines.

  • Determines feasibility of sales/business development concepts or projects.

  • Has basic knowledge of related disciplines.

  • Core sales and solutions business development role focused on development of the sales funnel based on deep customer intelligence, engaging with customers and driving integral design of solutions and local marketing with the goal to convert leads into clients.

  • The development of the solution requires a multidisciplinary approach and knowledge of principles, theories and concepts. Formulates the solution for (technical) partial problems that cannot be found by combining previous experiences but by composing newly acquired knowledge.

  • Works independently and provides consultative advice within specific areas.

  • Able to analyze and develop insights in market structure and applications of the assigned products.

  • Has working knowledge of company products and services.

  • Has to give presentations on local management level, including presentations of technical information.

  • Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

  • Frequently interacts with functional peer groups.

  • Ability to gain cooperation of others.

  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10 years of related experience.

  • In new business development projects with emphasis on the strategic and financial analysis.

  • In creating and establishing new business models and value propositions, in respective domain.

  • In business planning (working with markets on product launches, AOP planning, business development) and analyzing stakeholder environments.

  • Good communication skills both in English & Bahasa Indonesia.
