Job Description

FinAccel (the parent company of Kredivo) is looking for a Video Editor to join the marketing function.

The Video Editor is responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the personality of the brand as well as effectively communicate the key message through the chosen platform.

To ensure success as a Video Editor, you should have rich knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts with minimum supervision, and work according to a strict time schedule. Ultimately, a top-notch Video Editor will help us deliver successful marketing campaigns, whether the objective is performance (user acquisition) or branding.

Responsibilities:
Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation

Reviewing raw material to determine the shot list

Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques

Maintaining continuity and consistency of the brand guidelines while moving shots according to scene value

Trimming footage and putting together the rough project

Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects

Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence

Creating the final cut in the correct formatting and presentation according to specifications required

Key Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in film, multimedia or related degree is required

Experience working in a fast-paced & dynamic environment such as startup is preferred

Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs

Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously

Creative and artistic skills

Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project and the ability to translate ideas into complete projects

Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects

Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation

Ability to work to a tight schedule

Understanding of digital marketing is a plus
