The Government Affairs Specialist supports the success of FedEx in Indonesia by managing regulatory issues and maintaining key relationships with relevant stakeholders to influence the policy environment in favor of company objectives. The specialist will work within the Asia-Pacific Government and Regulatory Affairs team to develop external engagement strategies to shape and resolve policy matters related to customs, transportation, aviation, and other relevant domestic issues. The specialist will act with a great deal of autonomy and will work closely with the Indonesia Operations in Jakarta and other internal stakeholders to support FedEx business priorities.
To be successful in the role, the Government Affairs Specialist will perform regulatory & legislative monitoring and reporting in Indonesia, and offer regulatory risk analysis. The Specialist will be skilled at stakeholder engagement and relationship management to successfully perform advocacy on key regulatory issues. The Specialist will provide logistical support for executives traveling to Indonesia, and will provide interpretation and translation of governments as needed.
