About the Role


They say no man is an island - a notion that holds particularly true for this role. As our Event Specialist Specialist, you’ll be an instrumental cog in overseeing all event content production and technical matters on-site for all of the events and activities for GoTroops, ultimately impacting global employee engagement. Collaborating with other teams like the Operations team, your main objective will be to manage and partake in all initiatives and events that aim to gather and engage GoTroops. You will have ample opportunity to flex your multitasking skills, and dive deep into projects surrounding events and other activities, collectively getting us even closer to fostering a supportive/ healthy company.



What You Will Do

  • Oversee all the technical aspects of on-site events, including AV systems, etc
  • Responsible for the overall planning, content-creation and execution of events and activities under the CX Team
  • Ensure that post-event surveys are disseminated and the relevant data reports are generated thereafter
  • Maintain good relationships with event vendors to ensure that CX Team’s events are executed flawlessly
  • Engage with the International Representatives to ensure that they receive ample support for International events and activities
  • Work with vendors whenever necessary, to ensure that various events and activities achieve the desired impact and effect

What You Will Need

  • At least 2 years of work experience in the events space
  • Solid knowledge of all technical aspects when running a live event (AV systems, etc)
  • A good amount of energy to drive through the various activities and events that often happen during the same period
  • The inclination to walk the talk
  • Ability to collaborate well with other teams while maintaining ownership and responsibility
  • Good communication skills
  • A fun trait in you - believe in your dreams, believe that life is fun and most importantly, one who believes in a good night’s sleep

About the Team

The Community Experience team in Gojek sits across 4 countries (India, Singapore, Vietnam), with the bulk of our team members in Indonesia. We are mainly responsible for ensuring that GoTroops are well taken care of and engaged. You will find us handling matters related to travel and wellness, engagement events, corporate discounts and SWAG. Remember that awesome 11th Anniversary Party? That was us.
