Role Description

The Motion Designer is responsible for visual effects, animations and other techniques to create artwork for the media such as web, mobile apps & editing video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance the motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic project.
  • Create and deliver motion graphics in various media including web, mobile, etc.
  • Work with creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.
  • Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc for graphic design.
  • Work with other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.
  • Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
  • Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion
graphics.

  • Assist in designing and creating storyboards.
  • Participate in a brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.
Have a degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts or related field.

Have prior experience as a Motion Graphics Designer as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects.

Possess strong knowledge of Lottie, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.

Have basic audio editing capabilities. You will understand audio workflows and ideally have experience of working with audio professionals. A keen interest in motion graphics and an eye for the latest trends in typography and ident styles is also required.

Have a keen eye for design and aesthetics.

Have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas.

A strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.

An excellent eye for creating quality visuals. As well as being highly creative, a strong technical understanding of effective video workflows and file specifications will be required.
