About the Role
Like a conductor of a 100-piece orchestra, as our Region Strategy (Special Project) Manager, you will get to oversee the entire Indonesia Region team especially for the Operations and Sales team that works to create strategic initiatives that will give an impact on Gojek as a whole for Gojek. This position will report to the Head of Indonesia Region Strategy and have the Region Strategy Manager position as its subordinate. The role plays a significant part in setting OKR and ways of working by aligning with different functions. With your expertise in project management, you’ll be instrumental in driving our team closer to our ultimate goal of winning the Indonesia market, ensuring everything they do works in harmony with Gojek’s goals and values.


What You Will Do

    • Accountable for Setting the OKRs for the Indonesia region team (liaising with different functions to align on OKRs, target setting, target breakdown)
    • Own the Indonesia regions ways of working, OKR monitoring & cadences
    • Lead strategic initiatives that are cross regions / at Indonesia level

What You Will Need

    • At least 7 years experience in relevant sectors, start-up background is preferred
    • Solid project management skills - provided by experience in delivering large scale projects in previous organization
    • Strong in planning, leadership, managerial skill, result-driven, target-oriented with proven track records
    • Very good in number, excellent in analyzing data and using analytics to make decisions (PPT, sheet, excel)
    • Proficient in English & Bahasa, strong communication & interpersonal skill
    • Able to recruit to-notch talent team, nurture & mentor them
    • Able to collaborate with compassion, including managing complex stakeholders
About the Team
Our Region Strategy team, a sub-pod of the Indoregion team, has a total of 27 people based in Indonesia. This team is actually divided into 2 groups, region strategy, and supply chain & warehouse. Working alongside the Product and regional operations & sales team, we oversee the overall strategy to improve our regional team performance, including setting OKR and target for each region, initiating special projects to tackle challenges in regions until driver vaccination project during this pandemic. Should you have a question about how to read opportunities and create a strategy from it to our regional troops, we are your people!
Currently, our team has been busy working on integrating driver’s vaccination certificates to Peduli Lindungi apps, which will help our drivers in taking more orders and serving our customers better. off-hours, you’d probably find us having barbeque together. We’re made up of food enthusiasts, books lovers, and quiz fanatics. Once COVID subsides, we’re excited to have our barbeque time again.
