We are looking for Senior Engineer - PCBA Assembly & Testing to make an impact!

What will you do?

  • Responsible for PCBA manufacturing & test equipment: Creation / Update process semi-automatic or automatic machines.
  • Responsible for Testing systems – creation or update FCTs, ICTs, Inspection systems
  • Industrialize Supply Chain Strategy to ensure right service levels in plants – PCBA Assembly Process & Testing
    • Realizing new PCBA Assembly & Test Process lines
    • Setup of PCBA Assembly & Test Process lines in Schneider plants, Subcontractor, Suppliers
    • Labour productivity through Automation & Process improvements
    • New technology upgrades in PCBA Assembly and testing
    • Enhancing Process efficiency in plants
    • Upgrade / Retrofit Machine and line
  • Review Capacity Management – capacity needs and propose profitable actions
  • Deploy Industry4.0 Smart Factory solutions, Test and deploy new Assembly & Test technologies in our processes.
  • Reference & technology advocate for PCBA Assemly & Testing and new technologies in the region
  • Provide Expertise support to the EAJP region and beyond
  • Contribute to Regional Skill Animation of PCBA Assemly & Testdomain to enhance competency in the region.
  • Develop plant team’s technical capabilities
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering function activities for East Asia Japan Pacific region
  • Manufacturing Engineering SPOC / leader for the site & region for PCBA Assemly & Test

Qualifications

Education : Bachelors / Masters in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or equivalent Engineering;

Job Related Expérience : At least 8 of years experience in PCBA Industrialization & Testing / Maintenance / Manufacturing Engineering.

Key Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of PCBA Assemly & Test equ ipment build and maintenance
  • Strong in PCBA Process and Machine design principles and Automation Skills (MES, VB .net, LabView, TestStand, SQL Database)
  • Knowledge of process equipment like SMT line, AOI, Reflow, Wave soldering, FCT, ICT, etc would be key
  • Knowledge on Smart Machines, IIoT, Machine Learning and Data Science would be an advantage
  • Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing, process line design & capacity management would be an advantage
  • Experience on Digitization, Industry 4.0 tech and its application
  • Sound knowledge on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM )
  • Clarity in thinking, risk evaluation and strong in project management
