Factory Manager - Building Material Plant (based in Gresik)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading National Building Material company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15-20 years' experience in manufacturing of building material for the job of Factory Manager. The job is based in Gresik, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report directly to the President Director
  • Set up and monitor the KPI related to all production and business process in the factory
  • Develop and implement operational improvements and best practice operating procedures
  • Monitor operations metrics to optimise product quality and minimise waste
  • Monitor production process in the factory and all facility
  • Develops, maintain, and executes manufacturing plans that align with business strategic direction to increase the production capacity and efficiency
  • Formulate and recommend manufacturing strategies in the short, medium, and longer term that will guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability.
  • Direct and monitor production and maintenance team to accomplish the goals of the operational plan, consistent with established ethical, safety, quality and manufacturing procedures and policies
  • Plan, initiate and coordinate the capital expenditure programs for improving productivity, quality, costs, and safety.
  • Promote and build a safety culture, monitor compliance with government and company safety regulations.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related major from reputable university
  • Minimal 20 years hands on operations related experience, 15 years manufacturing management in a multi -product, chemical production facility
  • Multi-national company experiences at building material industry are preferred
  • Good English reading and written ability
  • Very strong leadership skills, mentoring and coaching
  • Strong problem-solving ability and effective employee management experience
  • Good Financial literacy
  • Strong exposure in six sigma and continuous improvement
  • Expert both in production and maintenance area
  • Strong exposure in data analytics and review
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Willing to work in Gresik
