Responsible for selling EM products and offering solutions to industrial customers to achieve the sales plan either directly or in conjunction with designated EM Distributor(s)
Reports functionally to Sales Supervisor / Manager
Key interface with Marketing, Customer Service, Technical and Operations
Broad geographic coverage
Execute defined marketing programs
Apply consultative selling skills
Typically home based office subject to local affiliate practices / guidelines
Face-to-face selling, closing the sale
Working with Distributors
Frequent local travel
Visit large industrial sites
Implement local sales plan to meet annual P&B and marketing plan objectives
Manage credit and pricing consistent with defined offer standards
Meet direct Opex objectives for area of responsibility
Effective and efficient use of EM Field Engineering and Marketing resources
Consistently execute the Sales Pipeline process including regular analysis and follow-up
Remain fully abreast of market conditions, trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
Support Distributors by providing Sales Pipeline coaching and sell-out support to their staff
Perform other duties or activities as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Have experience in general manufacturing industry (automotive, plastic or spare parts industry) at min 3 years
ï· Conducting business & performing duties / tasks in accordance to McDermottâs âCode of Business conductâ, HSES and McDermottâs Quality Policies.
Evaluates the propertyâs participation in the various sales channels (e.g., Area Sales, Group Sales within the Sales Office, electronic lead channels, etc.).
Simplify very complex messages with simple copywriting.
Always aim for readability and clear delivery of the idea and message.
