About the Department

The Legal and Secretariat function is comprised of the Legal and Secretariat teams. The Legal team works closely with all functions across the Group to provide timely, accurate and practical legal support. This facilitates decision-making in the delivery of efficient service to our customers, while ensuring that the Group’s interests are protected. The Secretariat team supports the boards of UOB and its Singapore subsidiaries in the discharge of their responsibilities and provides advice on governance matters. It also facilitates communication between the non-executive directors and senior management, and manages the induction and professional development programme for directors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Mengusulkan dan melaksanakan sasaran dan langkah strategis yang terkait dengan pemberian jasa hukum litigasi kepada manajemen maupun unit kerja lain.
  • Melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawab dengan semaksimal mungkin sesuai dengan SLA yang berlaku.
  • Memberikan jasa hukum litigasi, baik berupa pendapat hukum, nasihat hukum maupun langkah hukum strategis yang terkait dengan penanganan perkara litigasi.
  • Mengusulkan perubahan kebijakan hukuminternal atau dokumen hukum terkait dengan penanganan perkara litigasi UOBI.
  • Melakukan proses negosiasi hukum terkait penanganan perkara litigasi sesuai dengan permintaaan dari manajeman atau unit kerja lain yang terkait.
  • Memastikan aspek hukum yang terkait dengan setiap penanganan perkara litigasi telah dipenuhi sebagaimana mestinya.
  • Menyiapkan bahan pelatihan hokum terkait dengan aspek hukum litigasi.
  • Memberikan bantuan hukum pendampingan kepada manajemen maupun staff terkait dengan proses hukum di kepolisian, kejaksaan maupun di
pengadilan yang terkait dengan kegiatan operasional perusahaan.

Job Requirements

  • Memiliki pengalaman dalam menangani proses hukum di kepolisian, kejaksaan, maupun di pengadilan
  • Memiliki pengalaman di bidang litigasi hukum baik di perusahan ataupun law firm
  • Memiliki kemampuan komunikasi yang baik
  • Memiliki pengatahuan yang baik terkait dengan hukum di Indonesia
