Role Summary: A boiler operator is responsible for firing and minor maintenance of high pressure boilers supplying heat and power. Responsibilities: You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall Operation and Management of the Maintenance and Utility;
  • Identifies the optimum maintenance strategies and leads the Plant Preventive Maintenance Program;
  • Provides engineering and technological leadership and maximizing service life of critical equipment;
  • Provides engineering and solutions to difficult and complex technical equipment issues across the Complex and facilities within the Group;
  • Responsible for overseeing outages;
  • Accountable for Maintenance OPEX and CAPEX budgets and costs of the entire Complex;
  • Develops and maintains an asset integrity register for the whole of the Complex in EMS-SAP;
  • Enforces required maintenance processes, ensures equipment reliability, and provides proper environment/framework for modernization/digitization plans’ implementation;
  • Identifies designs and implements cost, quality and time efficiency Continuous improvement (CI) projects;
  • Leads initiatives on erection & commission of new equipment and identifies debottlenecking project to enhance plant processes and productivity;
  • Be a mentor and coach to senior team members in the maintenance team;
  • Ensures that systems are in place to maintain safe systems of work; Ensures compliance with statutory requirement and company’s Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems, Policies and Procedures.
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent);
  • Preferably Manager with strong managerial skill & experience in manufacturing, engineering field or equivalent with minimum 12 years of working experience in the related field;
  • Having 1st Grade Steam Engineer's Certificate and strong competencies in handling the Coal Boiler, Steam Turbine, Genset, WTP/WWTP/Desalination;
  • Knowledge in Computerized Maintenance Management System such as SAP/Maximo;
  • Language: English and Bahasa.
