Job Description

Packaging Operator





YOUR TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • To operate packaging units to ensure compliance with all statutory and government standards, utilising ES&H resources.
  • Work together with the maintenance technicians to carry out all machine setting and operations troubleshooting in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
  • Provide input to the improvement and maintenance of operating, safety and environment procedures and systems.
  • To involve in performing and monitoring the overall plant performance including:
  • Product yield & target achievement
    On stream time
    Quantity of product produced
    Quality of product produced
    ES&H compliance
  • Follows daily instructions, prioritize work and follows up on special assignment request and report results.
  • Communicate effectively with other workers, health and safety representatives, manager.
  • Provide cooperation and support in the resolution of packaging operation and equipment problems
  • Job involves shift work and overtime (nights, weekends and holidays) to meet production requirements.
  • Record the packaging operation timely and in the right manner.

WHO YOU ARE


  • Senior high school graduated or Senior Technical school with 2 –3 years experience in the manufacturing operation of a chemical processing plant specifically in the packaging area
