Key Responsibilities
Work on both internal and external (client) projects, gathering requirements and defining the functionality required Liaise with the SFCM product, project management and development teams to identify the best solution and determine the effort required to develop this Be involved in testing of the functionality once developed and the system, as a whole, where necessary Work in close co-operation with other Broadridge business units and external clients as required. As part of the sales process, the BA shall be involved in supporting demos to prospects where their knowledge is applicable. The BA shall also be involved in design studies for prospective clients identifying gaps and creating solutions. This shall include assisting in the creation of the design study document.
Must-have Skills
6+ years of experience in a business analyst, techno-functional or change management role in the domain of securities processing Writing detailed specifications (requirements documents) Design of business processes Working knowledge of post-trade systems such as Gloss, Impact, BPS or DTC Technically sound with complex SQL querying Good understanding of messaging protocols and standards Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to travel for short term trips to onsite location on short notice Willingness to work in different time zones (UK/US)
Nice-to-have Skills
Working knowledge of securities lending, repo and/or collateral management in an end-user, software vendor or consultancy Familiarity with code analysis in terms of stored procedures, packages, classes and libraries Familiarity with Agile methodologies and related tools such as Jira
Handle purchase orders to ensure that copies of all approved and currently valid purchase orders e.g. purchase requests, market list, standard supply contractsâ¦
