We’re looking for a Communications Manager for Indonesia, based in Jakarta, to join our Southeast Asia communications team. This role will report to the Head of Communications for Indonesia and will be responsible for supporting communications programmes for TikTok and other ByteDance product lines in the market:

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a communications support to the communications team to amplify key initiatives for both internal and external audiences
  • Responsible for supporting strategy, planning and execution of internal/ external communications
  • Partner with different functions and project teams to deliver effective communications that support business objectives
  • Support agency management to ensure delivery of agreed activities
  • Drive consistency of messaging and brand across communications channels
  • Provide support for team's administration activities
  • A min of five (5) years' experience in communications industry
  • A degree in Journalism, PR, Communications or in a related discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa and English
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate and form effective relationships and collaborate with colleagues across different departments and functions
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify highly-technical messaging into clear, actionable deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute communication strategy and planning
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple assignments, deadlines and high-volume, detailed work within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in media relations and/ or agency background is a plus
