Job Description

This position of System Administrator is ideal for a Linux Engineer keen on learning new things in the field of System and Network administration. The person is expected to work and achieve results in a highly knowledgeable and cooperative team in contact with our international clients and partners. As a System Administrator, we expect the person to support the server designs and IT network system and to be responsible for its implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, implement, analyzes, maintains and supports the 1rstWAP servers and IT network systems,
  • Provide specialized technical assistance in defining server designs,
  • Implements solutions and strategies.

Requirements

  • Advanced Linux Administration Knowledge (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu),
  • Web server administration (Apache/Jboss/Nginx),
  • Email server administration,
  • Knowledge and experience in OpenLDAP or Karberos and Radius implementation,
  • Virtualization and managing virtual machine (Proxmox/RedHat virtualization environment),
  • Database experience, database clustering, replication and optimization,
  • Hands on experience in Perl/Bash or Python scripting,
  • IT Security knowledge in Linux Firewall, Cisco ASA or PaloAlto,
  • Experience with HIDS implementation (OSSEC/Samhain/Tripwire),
  • Experience with opensource penetration test tools,
  • Routing and switching experience (Cisco/Mikrotik),
  • Familiarity with opensource tools, monitoring system, hardware troubleshoot and system backup (Cisco/Mikrotik),
  • Working exposure to networked storage (SAN/NAS) concepts,
  • Knowledge of SS7 and GSM network concepts will be higly regarded,
  • Knowledge and experience in managing small team will be highly regarded,
  • Self motivated, and ability to work overtime.
