The Role Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis role is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insights of Bank’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to apply analytical thinking, knowledge of financial data analysis, and methodologies to create and analyse reports that gauge Bank’s alignment with forecasted performance.
Strategy
Contribute to formulate strategic input by providing accurate and comprehensive financial information both bankwide and specific view.
Business
Provide accurate financial performance data and business driven analysis
Provide relevant input to business to ensure that the best decisions/practices are made/performed
Become an independent partner as reliable source for financial performance input
Commercialise ideas to help stakeholders in delivering budget
Processes
Simplification - review and streamline BAU activities for PM team to create more capacity to perform as Performance Management analytics.
Oversee the budget and forecast processes in the Country for all business and support functions
Deliver financial performance report to Management team or ad hoc request in timely manner.
Monthly Bank’s performance analysis is assessed thoroughly to reflect accurate historical and forward looking performance of the Bank.

Risk Management
Proactively manage and estimate the impact of every changing financials, projects, or significant events
Provide useful report / financial input for any identified risk against budget

Our Ideal Candidate
Qualified accountant or equivalent with experience in business partnering or performance management role in complex organizations.
Having strategic perspective, commercial awareness, information system awareness and interpersonal skills to take a lead role in managing financial institution with complex local legislations.
Having adequate understanding of Accounting standards, risk management methodologies, and business analysis techniques.
A high degree of integrity and the ability to challenge the views and actions of others in constructive manner.
Passed CFA Level 1 and Risk Management certifications.
